The Pyramids of Giza:
We considered Giza Plateau is one of the most enduring prehistoric monuments in the world.
It houses the three great pyramids (those of Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure) and at least six others, as well as several other important monuments, including the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid:
The oldest and largest of the pyramids were built by the 4th-Dynasty Khufu (2589-66BC).
It is estimated to contain over two million blocks of stone weighing on average around 2.5 tonnes, with some stones at the base weighing as much as 15 tonnes. Until the 19th century, it was the tallest building in the world.
The Great Sphinx:
Giza Sphinx carved from an outcrop of natural rock, augmented by shaped blocks around the base, added during repeated renovations from the 18th Dynasty onwards.
The Valley Temple:
Khafre’s Valley Temple stood on a quay and served as a gateway to the pyramid, connected by a long, mostly covered, causeway.
Buried in the sand, this was discovered by Auguste Mariette in 1852 and traces of it can still be seen today.

The Egyptian Museum
It is the most important destination for the majority of tourists who come to check some of the best sites in Egypt as it includes a rare collection of 5000 years of art with over 250,000 priceless artifacts including the marvelous collection of treasures of King Tutankhamun including his golden items such as his golden “Death” Mask that was enclosed in his tomb for about 3,500 years.
Amr Ibn Alas Mosque:
It is the oldest mosque to be built not only in Egypt but also all over Africa that dates back to 642 A.C. It was reconstructed so many times over the centuries and that is why it took a shape that is totally different from its previous one.
Then, a visit to Old Cairo to see the Abu Sirga Church, Hanging Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Lastly, you will visit Khan El Khalili, at Khan al-Khalili it is home to the coppersmiths’ market and an Assortment of workshops. Further along are shops selling a miscellany of coffee-house equipment such as tin-topped tables and sheeshas, before finishing with the garlic and onion stalls near Bab al-Futuh.

Surrounded by fields of sugarcane and corn, Kom Ombo is a pleasant agricultural town, home to many Nubians displaced by the creation of Lake Nasser.
This unusual structure is the result of the temple’s dedication to two gods – the left side to the falcon god Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and the right side to Sobek, the local crocodile god.
The Chapel of Hathor, just to the south of the temple, now houses a few crocodile mummies from the nearby crocodile necropolis.

The City of Edfu & The Temple of Horus at Edfu
Edfu stands beside the Nile almost exactly halfway between Luxor and Aswan.
The Temple of Horus at Edfu, which was buried under sand and silt for nearly two thousand years, is the largest and best-preserved Ptolemaic temple in Egypt. Construction of the temple began under Ptolemy III Euergetes in 237 BC and the main temple complex took 25 years to complete.

Then, you will visit Luxor Temple
There is more history in every square meter in this terrific temple which was constructed about 1400 BCE and unlike the rest of the temples which were constructed in ancient Egypt, it wasn’t dedicated to any cult god or any deified king in death but it was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship where many kings were crowned and the best time to visit this magical Temple is at night.
