Your expert tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel.

To start your tour to sightseeing in the world Giza Pyramids Complex to visit

The Pyramids of Giza:

We considered Giza Plateau is one of the most enduring prehistoric monuments in the world.

It houses the three great pyramids (those of Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure) and at least six others, as well as several other important monuments, including the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

The Great Pyramid:

The oldest and largest of the pyramids were built by the 4th-Dynasty Khufu (2589-66BC).

It is estimated to contain over two million blocks of stone weighing on average around 2.5 tonnes, with some stones at the base weighing as much as 15 tonnes. Until the 19th century, it was the tallest building in the world.

The Great Sphinx:

Giza Sphinx carved from an outcrop of natural rock, augmented by shaped blocks around the base, added during repeated renovations from the 18th Dynasty onwards.

The Valley Temple:

Khafre’s Valley Temple stood on a quay and served as a gateway to the pyramid, connected by a long, mostly covered, causeway.

Buried in the sand, this was discovered by Auguste Mariette in 1852 and traces of it can still be seen today.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is currently in its trial phase, with several sections open to the public. Visitors can explore 12 main galleries showcasing a vast array of artifacts spanning from 700,000 BCE to the 4th century AD. Highlights include a meticulous replica of the Tomb Chapel of Khnumhotep II and statues of Queen Hetepheres and Queen Hatshepsut. The Grand Staircase, adorned with ancient statues and objects

However, certain sections remain closed during this phase. The galleries dedicated to King Tutankhamun’s treasures are not yet accessible, and the Solar Boat Museum, which will house King Khufu’s solar boats, is also not open.

Once the tour is complete you will be transferred in comfort to your hotel.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3Cairo - Old Coptic and Islamic Cairo Tour

Your expert tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel.

Salah El Din Citadel
Salah El-Din Citadel is one of the most prestigious military castles constructed in the Middle Ages whose location is strategic since it controls over the cities of Cairo and Al Fustat that’s why the citadel provides defensive importance. The Citadel was erected during the 12th century to defend Cairo against the Crusaders and it was used as the seat of the government during the ruling periods of Ayyubids, Mamluk, and Ottomans.

Mohamed Ali Mosque
Mohamed Ali Mosque proudly stands as the highest point inside Cairo Citadel which was established by Mohammed Ali Pasha in 1830 AD and its erection continued till his death in 1848 AD. The exterior design was taken from the design of the Sultan Ahmad Mosque in Istanbul and the mosque acts as one of the most significant Islamic attractions in Cairo.

Old Coptic Cairo
The Hanging Church
The hanging church is referred to as the Suspended Church and it got its name as “The Hanging Church” since it was established on the southern gate of the Roman Fortress. This is with no doubt a very unique church in Old Cairo and what is impressive about it is the roof which is in the shape of the ark of Noah. It has been the residence of the Coptic Patriarch from the 7th up to the 13 centuries.

Ben Ezra Synagogue
Ben Ezra synagogue dates back to the 9th century and it occupied the 4th century Christian Church’s shell. It is considered the site where prophet Jeremiah collected all of the Jews together after the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple was destroyed in the 6th century by Nebuchadnezzar. Abraham Ben Ezra restored in the 12th century and since then, it has become the place to know all about the secrets and mysteries of the life of the North African Jewish Community starting from the 11th century up to the thirteenth.

Abu Serga Church
Abu Serga church is believed to be built in the place which is believed to be the spot where the Holy family including Mary, Jesus Christ, and Joseph rested after finishing their journey into Egypt. That church has a great historical importance and so many patriarchs of the Coptic Church were erected there.

Lastly, you will visit Khan El Khalili, at Khan al-Khalili it is home to the coppersmiths’ market and an assortment of workshops. Further along, are shops selling a miscellany of coffee-house equipment such as tin-topped tables and sheeshas, before finishing with the garlic and onion stalls near Bab al-Futuh.

Then you will be taken to your private A/C vehicle, your tour guide will be waiting for you to start your tour.

You will stop at the East Bank to visit The Temple of Karnak

That is how it combines the achievements of many ancient builders & Pharaohs. It actually comprises a vast mix of ancient Egyptian decayed Temples, Chapels, and many other buildings. Inside it, you will find 3 main Shrines of Amun-Re, Mut, and Khunso on about 247 acres of Land.

Then, you will visit Luxor Temple

There is more history in every square meter in this terrific temple which was constructed about 1400 BCE and unlike the rest of the temples which were constructed in ancient Egypt, it wasn’t dedicated to any cult god or any deified king in death but it was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship where many kings were crowned and the best time to visit this magical Temple is at night.

Once the tour is complete you will be transferred in comfort back to your hotel.

Overnight in Luxor

Day 5Luxor – Luxor West Bank

Your expert tour guide will be waiting for you at your hotel.

The tour will start at the West Bank where you will visit the

Valley of the Kings

The remote, barren Valley of the Kings was the necropolis of the New Kingdom pharaohs. By digging their tombs deep into the Theban Hills, pharaohs from Tuthmosis I (c.1500 BC) on hoped to stop robbers stealing the priceless possessions buried with them.

But for all that, the structures themselves remain, their dramatic corridors and burial chambers stunningly adorned with symbolic accounts of the journey through the underworld and ritual paintings to assist the pharaohs in the afterlife.

and many different amazing Ancient Temple Monuments. In the Valley of the kings you will be taken back in time entering the tombs of the Pharaoh’s that contain painted pillars and walls.

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

Against its stark mountainous backdrop, the partly rock-hewn Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir al-Bahri is a breathtaking sight. It was designed by Queen Hatshepsut’s architect Senenmut in the 18th Dynasty and is an extraordinary monument which rises from the desert plain in a series of imposing terraces.

The temple was damaged by Ramses II and his successors, and Christians later turned it into a monastery (hence the name Deir al-Bahri, which means “Northern Monastery”). However, the ongoing excavation of the site continues to reveal much exquisite decoration. Adjacent to the main temple are the ruins of the much older Temple of Montuhotep II, the ruler of the 11th Dynasty who managed to unite Egypt, and the 18th-Dynasty Temple of Tuthmosis III.

Then to see the Colossi of Memnon

Soaring 18 m (60 ft) into the sky, the two enthroned statues of Amenhotep III are the first monuments most visitors see on arriving in the West Bank.

They originally guarded Amenhotep’s mortuary temple – thought to have been the largest ever built in Egypt -which was plundered for building material by later pharaohs and gradually destroyed by the annual floods.

All that remains are the two faceless colossi, which, despite the ravages of time, are an impressive sight.

Once the tour is complete you will be transferred in comfort back to your hotel.
